MANDATORY SUPPLEMENTARY FEES

Regardless of the length of the rental, we charge you a fixed fee of €177 for:

• chemicals for chemical toilet,
• toilet paper,
• 1 x full gas cylinder,
• full tank of water,
• external and internal cleaning,
• table and chairs,
• bike carrier,
• included vignette for Slovenian roads,
• electric cable with adapter for connection to 220 V,
• water pipe,tire wedges.

TERMS OF PAYMENT

The reservation is confirmed with a transfer of 30% of the value of the offer.

The entire rental amount must be paid no later than 3 weeks before the agreed rental date.

RENTAL TERMS

Driver or

the motorhome renter must have a valid driver’s license of category B, (for vehicles weighing up to 3.5t) at least five years of driving experience, at least 23 years old, a valid personal document and a valid credit card with a deposit limit.

RESERVATION CANCELLATION

In case of cancellation of the reservation:

• cancellation up to and including 30 days before departure, 10% of payment;
• cancellation from 29 to 22 days before departure, 50% of payment;
• cancellation 21 days up to and including the day of departure, 100% of the payment is withheld.

The risk of cancellation of the reservation can be insured with Zavarovalnica Triglav.

In the event that the tenant cannot participate in the trip, he can transfer the reservation to another passenger who meets the agreed conditions.

The lessor must be informed about the transfer of the beneficiary no later than 3 days before departure. If it is possible to change the reservation, this can be done upon payment of EUR 50.00 additional administrative costs.

COLLECTION AND RETURN

Return – up to the same time as collection.

BAIL

A deposit of €950 – €1,500 (depending on the type of motorhome) is required when taking over the motorhome.

The deposit is paid with a valid credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Diners). The deposit amount is blocked on your card for the duration of the rental. If the conditions for withholding the security deposit are not met, it will be returned to the tenant in full.

The amount is intended to cover possible damage during the rental period:

• deductible deductible of 1% of the value of the vehicle with comprehensive insurance in case of injury, accident or theft;

• loss of premium class, bonus;
• damage or loss of equipment;
• comprehensive insurance does not include: damage to: bumpers, mirrors, lights, damage to interior equipment, awnings and damage caused in parking lots.

The damage represents the value of the spare part increased by the value of the replacement part.

The difference between the actual damage and the security deposit is returned to the tenant. The lessor reserves the right to raise the security deposit, exceptionally at its own discretion, depending on the destination and time of the trip.

EXCEED KM/DAY

It is allowed to drive 400 km/day, 2800 km/week.

Exceeding the daily mileage is charged at €0.35/km.

IN CASE OF DELAY

In the event of a delay in returning the motor home by up to 1 hour, a late fee of €50 will be charged.

€100 will be charged for each subsequent hour. In case of force majeure, notify the lessor immediately by phone.

EMPTYING THE TOILET CASSETTE

If you do not empty the toilet cassette yourself, you are obliged to pay an additional €120.00 for emptying it.

FUEL

The motorhome returns with a full tank of fuel and a full tank of AD BLUE additive, otherwise the logistics of refueling will be charged €60.00 + missing fuel.

AD BLUE additive is charged at €3.66/L.

CLEANING OF THE MOTORHOME – ADDITIONAL CHARGES

The vehicle is returned in the same condition as the renter received with normal wear and tear included.

An extra €120 is charged for an extremely dirty motorhome (garbage, emptying of the refrigerator, a large amount of dirt, leaves, mud, sand, unpleasant smell. The toilet cassette must be emptied, otherwise the tenant will be charged an additional €120. In case of stubborn stains on upholstered parts, the tenant will be charged an additional €30/seat or €50/bed. SMOKING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED IN THE MOTORHOME! Otherwise, the tenant will be charged an additional €300 for special cleaning and disinfection. For pets, the renter will be charged an additional €50/rental. In case of necessary additional cleaning (hair), an additional €50 will be charged to the tenant. If pets are present without prior notice, the tenant will be charged €150.

RESPONSIBILITY OF THE LESSEE

The lessee is responsible for the keys and documents of the motorhome, he does not leave them in the vehicle, but always carries them with him.

IN THE EVENT OF A TRAFFIC ACCIDENT

In the event of a traffic accident, immediately call the police, fill in the European report and immediately call the landlord.

The lessee is obliged to submit a damage report upon returning the damaged vehicle. The tenant must hand over all received documentation to the landlord and attach descriptions of the damage and sketches of the accident. The police record must contain all the information (names) of those involved in the accident, the Green Card number of all the vehicles involved in the accident. In the event that the accident is caused by the tenant due to driving under the influence of alcohol, negligent behavior or under the influence of psychoactive substances, the insurance company does not reimburse the damage caused, the tenant is obliged to reimburse the damage. Likewise, the loss of income due to the repair of the motorhome.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR MOTORHOME RENTAL “STIPIC MOTORHOMES”

1. INTRODUCTION

The general conditions are binding for both contractual parties.

The tenant will act as a good custodian during the rental period and, as a participant in road traffic, will comply with traffic regulations and regulations regarding safe and permitted overnight stays with the motorhome.

2. OFFER-RESERVATIONS

Based on inquiries (by email, oral, written), the lessor will prepare an individualized offer that meets the wishes and needs and will send it to the tenant by email. The tenant must confirm the offer within three days by email to the email address: booking@stipic.eu. The acceptance of the offer must include information on the agreement and acceptance of the essential elements of the rental; name and surname of the driver, validity of the driver’s license, permanent residence, date of birth, telephone number, email, list of other passengers traveling with the motorhome, type of motorhome, and rental period.

After the acceptance of the offer, a proforma invoice for the total rental amount will be issued. After payment of the proforma invoice, the Contract will be prepared and sent for signature. By signing the Contract, it is assumed that the tenant is familiar with the General Terms and Conditions for motorhome rental and fully accepts them. The content of the contract becomes binding for both signatories.

Online registration and confirmation imply that the tenant has read the terms of the contract and fully agrees with them.

3. PAYMENT CONDITIONS

After the contract takes effect, a proforma invoice will be issued for 30% of the total amount. The total rental amount must be paid no later than three weeks before the agreed rental date. The agreed deadline is considered a fixed deadline for fulfilling the payment obligation, and in case of delay, the Contract is considered dissolved. In exceptional cases, for booking within a 30-day period, the full amount is payable upon reservation.

A payment confirmation will be issued for the full and timely performance of obligations, based on which the motorhome can be picked up on the agreed day at the agreed time.

4. CANCELLATION OF RESERVATION

In case of reservation cancellation, the following fees apply:

• Cancellation up to and including 30 days before departure, 10% of the payment;
• Cancellation from 29 to including 22 days before departure, 50% of the payment;
• Cancellation 21 days up to and including the day of departure, 100% of the payment.

The risk of reservation cancellation can be insured.

If the tenant cannot participate in the trip, the reservation can be transferred to another passenger who meets the agreed conditions. The lessor must be informed of the transferee at least 3 days before departure. If a reservation change is possible, it can be done with an additional payment of 50.00 EUR for administrative costs.

5. PRICE LIST

An annex to the general conditions is a price list that specifies rental prices for various types of motorhomes in different periods.

Additional services cannot be ordered later.

The rental price does not include costs such as fuel, AdBlue, parking fees, tolls for foreign countries, municipal taxes, fees and charges, tolls, fines for traffic violations, and other damages incurred during the rental period.

6. RENTAL CONDITIONS

The driver or motorhome tenant in Slovenia must have a valid B-category driver’s license (for vehicles up to 3.5t), at least five years of driving experience, be at least 23 years old, have a valid ID, and a valid credit card for a deposit.

7. SECURITY DEPOSIT

A deposit is required upon the motorhome’s takeover, ranging from 750.00€ to 1500.00€, depending on the type of motorhome. The deposit is payable with a valid credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Diners). The deposit amount is blocked on your card for the rental period.

The amount is intended to cover any damage during the rental period:

• Deductible franchise of 1% of the vehicle’s value for comprehensive insurance in case of damage, accident, or theft;
• Loss of premium class, bonus;
• Damage or loss of equipment;
• The following are not included in comprehensive insurance: damage to bumpers, mirrors, lights, damage to interior equipment, awning, and damage that occurs in parking lots.

The actual extent of the damage is calculated up to 750.00 EUR or 1500.00 EUR, depending on the type of motorhome. The damage represents the value of the spare part plus the value of the replacement labor. The difference between the actual damage and the deposited deposit is returned to the tenant.

If the conditions for retaining the deposit are not met, it will be returned in full to the tenant. In case of unresolved circumstances regarding the cause and extent of the damage, the deposit will be retained until clarification.

In case the tenant is the cause of the accident, the deposit is retained in full. For causing damage to internal equipment and items not covered by comprehensive insurance, the extent of the damage is charged at the actual amount (material + labor) for replacement.

In the event of an accident, theft, break-in, or motorhome theft during the trip, the tenant must immediately call the police or report the incident and complete the European report. After an accident, the tenant must have a police report and a European report and hand them over to the lessor.

If the tenant does not have the documents, they will be liable for all incurred costs and damages. The vehicle must be returned in perfect condition, as it was taken, taking into account the use during the rental period.

All damages and malfunctions must be reported to the lessor immediately so that repairs can be arranged in advance.

The lessor reserves the right to increase the deposit, exceptionally at its discretion, depending on the destination and duration of the trip.

8. LIMITATION OF MILEAGE

The tenant must adhere to the allowed mileage limit per day or week: 400 km/day or 2800 km/week. The lessor considers the total number of kilometers after the end of the rental, not daily. Exceeding the mileage limit is charged at a rate of 0.35 EUR/km.

9. RENTAL, COLLECTION AND RETURN OF CAR

No rental of less than 7 days is possible during high season.

In the low and mid seasons, the minimum rental period is 4 days.

The car is collected at the company’s headquarters during the working hours of Avtocentr Martin Stipič d.o.o., Zaloška cesta 179a, 1000 Ljubljana, between 10.00 and 15.00 or by appointment, and returned by 9.00 a.m. at the same place during the working hours.

The landlord and the renter agree a few days in advance on the exact pick-up or drop-off time. The receiver inspects the vehicle: bodywork, equipment and engine, and both sign a takeover note. The acceptance note is the basis for the handover, which is binding on both the renter and the lessor.

At the time of the handover, which takes about 1 hour, the landlord shows the motorhome to the tenant and hands over the keys, documents and instructions for use.

In the event of a delay of up to 1 hour in the return of the campervan, a late fee of EUR 50.00 will be charged, and EUR 100.00 will be charged for each additional hour. In the event of a delay due to force majeure, the lessee must immediately inform the lessor by telephone. The rental period cannot be extended without prior agreement. Arbitrary extension of the rental period by 1 day or more than 1 day will result in the tenant being denounced to the competent authorities. The landlord will retain the security deposit in full and claim full compensation for any damage caused by late return. Voluntary early return of the campervan by the tenant does not oblige the landlord to refund a pro-rata part of the rent. The same applies in the event of a delayed takeover by the tenant.

The lessee returns the vehicle to the head office of AC Martin Stipič d.o.o., Zaloška cesta 179a, 1000 Ljubljana. The camper van must be in the same condition as when it was received by the Renter. Upon return, the camper van must be in the following possession:

• a full fuel tank (indicator on the top line) otherwise refuelling logistics and fuel will be charged EUR 60.00 + fuel;
• a full tank of AdBlue additive
• empty cassette and cleaned toilet bowl;
• the campervan must be partially cleaned (fridge empty, rubbish,…);
• empty waste water tank.

On return, the actual condition of the campervan shall be ascertained and all appliances checked for proper functioning. Any damage and non-functioning of the appliances shall be recorded in the acceptance report. Damage caused shall be charged according to the price list.

10. CLEANING OF THE MOTORHOME – EXTRA CHARGES

The booking includes a cleaning fee of EUR 177.00 and chemicals for the toilet, 1 x gas… The camper is cleaned inside and outside on pick-up, the waste water tank is also cleaned. The vehicle is returned in the same condition. There is an extra charge for returning the campervan in an extremely dirty condition:

EUR 120,00 for emptying the toilet cassette

EUR 120.00 for an extremely dirty vehicle: rubbish, emptying the radiator, large amount of dirt in the camper, leaves, mud, sand, unpleasant smell, etc.

SMOKING IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN IN THE CAMPER. Otherwise, an additional charge of EUR 300.00 for special cleaning and disinfection will be made.

Pets are NOT ALLOWED. If they are present despite the ban, an additional cleaning fee of EUR 150.00 will be charged. Unless an additional cleaning fee of EUR 50.00 applies.

It is also possible to pick up and return the campervan on Saturday or on a public holiday, but an additional charge of EUR 150.00 will apply.

11. REPAIRS AND BREAKDOWNS DURING THE RENTAL PERIOD

AC Martin Stipič d.o.o. is the official agent for the sale and servicing of RAPIDO, ITINEO, LMC, ETRVSCO and KARMANN MOBIL, FORSTER brand motorhomes in Slovenia. We are qualified for all repairs so unauthorized persons are prohibited from repairing. All repairs carried out by unauthorised persons are the responsibility of the hirer. The Lessor will not accept repairs carried out during the rental period of the motorhome which have not been previously notified and approved. Repairs carried out abroad must be carried out only by authorised repairers. Any damage must be reported immediately to the Lessor. In the event of repairs, the Lessee must give the Lessor an original copy of the invoice, which must be made payable to AC Martin Stipič d.o.o., Zaloška cesta 179a, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia, Tax No.: SI92058043. In the absence of a properly and fully completed invoice, the Lessor shall not be obliged to reimburse the costs incurred.

12. EQUIPMENT

The motorhomes come with a fridge, cooker, sink, toilet, bathroom, garage (bike, luggage), awning, chairs, table, optional bike rack,…

Additional equipment included in the rental:

• vignette for Slovenian roads;
• compulsory equipment (fire extinguisher, tyre change kit, triangle, first aid kit, safety vest);
• 1 x full gas cylinder;
• tyre mats;
• electrical cable with adapter for 220V connection
• water hose, bucket and broom.

13. RESPONSIBILITY OF THE LESSEE

The tenant should carefully study the intended trip in advance and familiarize himself with the regulations for the use of motorhomes in individual countries and road traffic and other regulations on permitted and unauthorized overnight stays or

camping outside of regulated cities. In proceedings due to misdemeanors, criminal and other proceedings, the lessor will provide the competent authorities with all the data of the tenant at his disposal. Fines for misdemeanors and penalties must be paid by the renter as the motorhome user. In the event that the motorhome is temporarily detained by the police, customs or the inspectorate, the tenant is obliged to immediately inform the landlord. The tenant bears all the costs of the lessor’s loss of income (impossibility of continuing the lease). The lessee is responsible for the keys and documents of the motorhome, he does not leave them in the vehicle, but always carries them with him. If the keys are in the motor home – the insurance company does not cover the damage, so the entire responsibility lies with the tenant. Motorhomes intended for winter travel have appropriate equipment. Before starting the trip, the renter must check whether the motorhome is equipped with additional equipment, which may be prescribed by the individual country. The total permitted weight of the motor home is 3,500 kg, in case the tenant exceeds it, he is responsible for himself.
Transportation of prohibited substances and people without documents or with unedited documents is prohibited or everything prohibited by the legislation of the Republic of Slovenia or in another country through which the tenant is traveling or visiting. It is strictly forbidden to rent out the motorhome for use by another person. In case of non-compliance, the lessor may keep the deposit in full.

14. CARE OF THE LESSOR

The lessor guarantees that the motorhome is in perfect condition and free of any damage that could be the cause of an accident upon collection.

The lessor does not assume responsibility during the rental period for:

• equipment or things that are alienated, lost or stolen during the rental period;
• documents and money in the motorhome;
• forgotten things in the motorhome after the rental is over.

All of the things listed above are not included in motorhome insurance.

The lessor is obliged to provide the lessee with a motorhome in the same class if there is a breakdown or

exchange of the selected motorhome. The lessee is obliged to accept it without compensation. If this is not possible, the tenant can get a motorhome that is available. The difference in the rental price is reimbursed if it is lower. If the tenant does not accept this, the money will be returned to him in full without compensation.

All motorhomes for rent are equipped with tracking devices The Court in Ljubljana is competent for all potential disputes.

16. FREE PARKING OF RENTERS’ VEHICLES

We allow our clients-tenants to park their vehicles free of charge, at their own risk.

The lessor does not have any additional or special insurance policies for the parking lot. Possible damages are not the responsibility of the lessor AC Martin Stipič d.o.o.

17. RESTRICTION ON ENTRY INTO COUNTRIES

With a rented motorhome, you can travel to EU countries, Albania, Andorra, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Iceland, Kosovo, Liechtenstein, Macedonia, Monaco, Norway, San Marino, Serbia, Switzerland and Turkey.

Other countries are a matter of agreement at the time of booking. Before traveling, the tenant must check the validity of the Green Card or inform the landlord if he needs any special insurance. The cost of this is paid by the tenant.

18. USING THE BIKE CARRIER

The carrier has a MAX load capacity of 60 kg.

It is not allowed to transport electric bicycles on the carrier. When transporting bicycles, we must be extremely careful when driving over bumps (lying down policemen, etc.). All damage caused to the carrier during the rental period will also be billed to the customer.

19. OUT OF COURT RESOLUTION OF DISPUTES

AC Martin Stipič d.o.o.

as a motorhome lessor, does not recognize any out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes as competent for the resolution of consumer disputes that may be initiated by the consumer in accordance with the Act on Out-of-Court Resolution of Consumer Disputes. The link is available online:

The regulation derives from the Act on Out-of-Court Dispute Resolution, EU Regulation No.: 524/2013 of the European Parliament and the Council on online dispute resolution and amendment of EC Regulation No.: 2016/2004 and Directive 2009/22/EC.

20. PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

The lessor will protect all personal data obtained during business cooperation. The lessee agrees that the lessor processes the data himself and forwards them to external institutions in the event of demonstrated legitimate interest.

With his signature, the tenant confirms that he is familiar with the “General Terms and Conditions for Motorhome Rental” and that he will take them into account and fully respect them. The general conditions apply from 01.05.2022.
